Just like the veil of a bride, dreamy and elegant, this design named Lace draws inspiration from the intricate details and patterns of lacework. We’ve crafted this bespoke colourway—limestone and terra—especially for our lovely client @sieshome .

With a hallway that already had such great bones, this woollen stair runner elevates it to the next level. It brings style, texture, pattern, and comfort to the space. Descending these stairs is nothing short of special, offering the perfect backdrop for any bride gracefully making her way down—or for any regular person sprinting up and down; navigating the daily chaos of family rush hour.

“A staircase that leaves you speechless and invites gentle footsteps,” is how our lovely client @studiocobanne described this staircase in their latest project. They added: “For this special project, we teamed up once again with Studio Jantien.”

Studio Cobanne turned the entrance into elegant charm with a lovely mosaic floor, reminiscent of a Parisian entrance with its black border. The staircarpet, with a keen eye for detail—notice how the pattern flows smoothly even with the slightly angled steps—was expertly installed by master fitter @ocsdave

Studio Cobanne selected the Chevron design in terra/limestone, carefully crafted in Belgium on the ancient Axminster loom. This hallway now offers such a warm welcome, and it’s a real compliment that not only the designers and residents are happy with the end result, but also the children in the house love how comfortably soft the stairs feel. After all, that’s what really counts—everyday comfort wrapped in beauty.

Take this stunning home, custom-designed to perfection—every single detail crafted with the finest eye for detail (and yes, there are clever ways to hide your airco unit and create a stunning bookcase at the same time. Just saying). Don’t forget to follow interior designer @sieshome for more inspiration!

Today, let’s focus on the stairs, a personal favorite! 🌟 I’m totally loving this brilliant idea of painting only the risers and treads of the stairs in the same colour as the runner, while the side woodwork and balusters stand in a contrasting shade. Such a clever design masterstroke by Simone. See how smart this looks and get inspired for your own stairs!
